The process consists from creative tasks, meaning self-research grounded on one formula. In the process we mix different creative spaces like voice, writing poetry, butoh, contact Improvisation and whirling. Solipsis has an open format which means each participant has the freedom to enjoy the creative direction in which he has curiosities.

In our creative process we appeal at texts written by Arvo Part, Kazuo Ohno, Claude Regy and Zarey Garunts. Regarding participants interests and overall creative stream we are in, the result of the lab are poetry, musical compositions, video-performance and short poetic videos.

The workshop’s main aim is to provide the art of dance through different contemporary dance techniques and physical exercises in order to obtain and discover a powerful, organic fluidity in dance and stage performance. Through different group exercises, the participant will get the opportunity to explore and develop a better and profound understanding of his own physical and psychological limits.

The laboratory will be an intense introspective journey which will have an explorative approach regarding the improvement of the choreographic composition and the stage skills.

what has to happen to say that something has happened ?

led by DIEGO AGULLO

In this workshop we will become a collective body of spectators travelling through all type of spaces using the choreographic exercise of The Chair Game. The Chair Game brings seated bodies into motion. A group of seated bodies constitutes a collective body of spectators, such as a theater audience or a group of students in a class. The Chair Game responds to the question of how to set in motion seated bodies? How to set in motion a theater audience? We will train on how to move collectively while sitting on a chair and how to place ourselves in the position of observers of public spaces and everyday life situations.

Our central idea is to produce estrangement towards everyday life, to exercise complicity as a group and to train our capacities of movement based on collective principles.

This workshop is an investigation on the relation between theory and practice, philosophy and art. How to practice theory? In which way is art a form of theory?

No special professional background is required. Just come and play. Be ready for the unexpected to happen.

Gaga is a movement language developed by Ohad Naharin; it is a new way of gaining knowledge and self-awareness through your body.

These classes last for an hour and fifteen minutes and are taught by dancers who have

worked closely with Ohad Naharin. Gaga/dancers classes employ the specific vocabulary and skills that are part and parcel of a dancer’s knowledge. The layering of familiar movements with Gaga tasks presents dancers with fresh challenges, and throughout the class, teachers prompt the dancers to visit more unfamiliar places and ways of moving as well. Gaga/dancers deepens dancers’ awareness of physical sensations, expands their palette of available movement options, enhances their ability to modulate their energy and engage their explosive power, and enriches their movement quality with a wide range of textures.

Gaga is a movement language developed by Ohad Naharin; it is a new way of gaining knowledge and self-awareness through your body.

Gaga/people classes last for one hour and are taught by dancers who have worked closely with Ohad Naharin. Teachers guide the participants using a series of evocative instructions that build one on top of the other. Rather than copying a particular movement, each participant in the class actively explores these instructions, discovering how he or she can interpret the information and perform the task at hand. Gaga/people classes offer a creative framework for participants to connect to their bodies and imaginations, increase their physical awareness, improve their Flexibility and stamina, and experience the

pleasure of movement in a welcoming, accepting atmosphere.

Participants should wear comfortable clothes and be prepared to dance barefoot or in socks. It is advisable to bring a bottle of water and a towel for use after class.
